Our Most Important Event Is Yours
Let us introduce ourselves. Nichole, my wife, and I are proud Madison County natives. Recently, we realized our culinary aspirations by launching Cave City BBQ, a food truck venture. To expand our business, we acquired Dr. Carpenter's Events. Drawing on my background in event production and coordination from my time as a popular wedding DJ in the area since 2008, we are excited to venture into owning an event venue.
Our family's roots in Madison County go back to the early 1800s when my great-great-great-grandfather, Willis Carpenter, settled in New Hope, AL after the war. Our ties to the region predate Alabama's statehood. Dr Carpenter, my second cousin, is often a topic of conversation among our customers, who frequently share fascinating stories about him at the food truck. These narratives hold great significance for us.
Taking over on July 1st, we intend to rename the venue Carpenter’s Events, honoring its past while embarking on a new chapter with the Carpenter family at the helm. Keep an eye out for the debut of our catering menu and the option for off-site catering for various occasions. We are excited to meet everyone, so feel free to stop by and say hello whenever you can!
